From Response to Resilience
CrisisAID was born out of a clear recognition: Zambia's communities face compounding risks — from climate-driven disasters to road traffic injuries, workplace hazards to inadequate trauma care — yet the systems designed to protect them remain fragmented and under-resourced.
Our founders brought together expertise from emergency medicine, disaster management, public health, and community development to build an organisation that works across these interconnected challenges with a single, coherent strategy.
In our first year, we mobilised volunteers across 3 districts, established early warning networks, and trained 50 frontline responders. The journey to 2035 has begun.
